Flying Mantarraya
A flying stingray inspired roof protects the home of lifelong stories. The story of an extraordinary couple that fell in love with a piece of heaven in the coast of Nicaragua.
Sergio with his long hair and Robin with her pixie cut, loved strolling down the beach villages looking for curious objects to add to their collection: colorful sheets of painted shacks, signposts of “Fish for Sale”, abandoned canoes and beautiful sunsets.

connecting sand
with dreams
An Italian doctor and his American wife had finally found the place where they could fall asleep. A quiet land in the coasts of Nicaragua, protected from tsunamis, but where they could still listen to the soothing sound of the waves.
For a man that had dived the five oceans and could enjoy the view of the mediterranean sea from his house in Italy, Flying Mantarraya became his place of peace.
