El Salvador

Casa Azul

For their vacation home, our clients dreamed of a simple, elegant, inviting, and connected with nature concept, with modern yet rustic details.
Casa Azul blends local elements with modern designs and materials in an open-air concept that suits the tropical climate perfectly.
An eye-catching thatched roof and timber structure serves as the focal point of the design. The center of the traditional roof is punctured over a small interior garden enhancing the sense of a green island.
We also used floor to ceiling and wall to wall sliding doors, as movable and utilitarian art.

connecting paradise
with nature

Happy, serene and friendly, this good-hearted young family wanted their beach house to be a piece of paradise!
Their ideal vacation home would have the following elements – simple, elegant, inviting and connected with nature.
The couple chose the kitchen and the pool to be the focal points of the house.
The “back” of the house, their “island of relaxation and fun”, has the ocean as their garden, large swimming pool, an area to play soccer and bocce ball, and a fully equipped barbecue kitchen.

Size: 400 m2

Status: Completed 2012
