connecting nature
with family life

El Salvador

Casa Tuscania

From the beginning of the design process the two main goals of this house were: being a part of nature (touching and living in it) and making the most of the view.
Since the trees were our main inspiration, we designed a journey along the “Pepeto” trees in the former coffee plantation. The product was a long, narrow plan to avoid excess excavation and to save all of the existing trees. The result, a tree house for both kids and grown ups.
The walls and roofing are nothing but an aggregate to protect the family from the rain and make an emphasis on nature. The mix of glass, exposed concrete, wood and polycarbonate, let the exterior into the interior.

Size: 260 m2
